mix efforts !

november 26 of 2007 ... pillowless blanketships:

you can click on the very large image if you would like. it will cause your computer to download a big electronic file, which is almost 52 megabites thick but is also repletely abounded with 38+ wondrous aural minutes. there are elevenn songs, and hopefully you have never heard of any of them, because if you already know and like the songs, then you might not want to listen to songs from a pillowless blanketship which would mean that i have hewn an abysmal failure of a mix all for nothing.

sorry, pulsetakers of the times between the past and future! these are all old songs. i tried to fit new songs in between old songs, but it just felt like gaping chasms. it did not feel quite right. you would agree if you were at the helm with me, listening intently into the framework of the ramshackle beast that i was deciding to wrought.

so there are lots of old songs. terry reid was supposed to sing for led zeppelin, but he was constantly shirking offers, because he must have had some complex, and so he had to live with being only sort of famous and relevant, instead of ridiculously so. chris bell is a sad story, and the song sounds like a big star song which is probably fitting. the song by relatively clean rivers sounds like what pavement would have sounded like in 1973, in my opinion, but my opinions are not very good some of the times. simply saucer is heralded as the most criminally underrated canadian band of all time, and they are from hamilton and their name fits a lot, or well. the velvet underground are the velvet underground and we should know by now. the groundhogs feel superobscure and they seem sort of angry and bitter about things, and their guitars eschew limelite accordingly. t rex is marc bolan is freespiriting prior to electric warriors. whoever the engineer was that mixed the small faces song must have been new to stereo sound, because they've got absolutely zero sharings between right and left channels, it is the most segregated song ever so if you play the song loud in your car then it will pull to the right. ten years after has this song on classic rock radio stations every once in awhile, it was a nice surprise when it fluttered off of my turntable at unawares yesterday. simon finn and skip spence are both weirdos and schizophrenics, and i always like to close out mix efforts with weirdos and schizophrenics.

you didn't have to read all of that if you didnot want to. i wouldn't quiz you and you shouldn't even care if i were to. yes that rhymed!

i hope that everyone has a nice december. soon it will be 2008 and everything you have wanted to be different will certainly be different, and you can revel in your brand new idealisms with the pillowless blanketships adrift overhead, alright?
